The Retro GEM is an HDMI upgrade for the N64. This is an installation service only and the kit must be purchased from here. The HDMI mod includes a 3D printed custom panel for the output, which allows for a no cut install.
RGB Mod
If your serial number starts with NS1” (USA), “NUJ1” (Japan) or “NUS-001 (FRANCE)”, then you can use a basic RGB board. All other N64’s will need an advanced install kit from here.
Region Free
The tabs in the cartridge slot can be cut to allow larger cartridges from other regions to be played.
