Nintendo 64 HDMI/RGB Installation
The Retro GEM is an HDMI upgrade for the N64. This is an installation service only and the kit must be purchased from here. The HDMI mod includes a 3D printed custom panel for the output, which allows for a no cut install.
RGB Mod
If your serial number starts with NS1” (USA), “NUJ1” (Japan) or “NUS-001 (FRANCE)”, then you can use a basic RGB board. All other N64's will need an advanced install kit from here.
Region Free
The tabs in the cartridge slot can be cut to allow larger cartridges from other regions to be played.
Original Xbox Mods
The original Xbox is a highly customizeable console & is similar in architecture to a desktop PC.
Project Stellar/XboxHD+ is a digital to digital HDMI mod that outputs 1080i video and is 5.1 surround sound capable. It also includes a mod chip.
The Hard drive interface can be upgraded via a SATA adapter and an 80 pin IDE cable, which will increase hard drive read/write speed.
There are also various mod chips still in production that can add increased functionality and region free capabilities.
A clock capacitor removal is advisable on all Xbox units as it will eventually leak and cause damage to the motherboard.
RAM Upgrade
The Xbox ram can be upgraded to 128mb. While there are certain patches that allow mainline Xbox titles to utilize the extra chips, the true benefit of this upgrade is for smoother emulation of the various emulators available on the platform. It also will allow you to emulate Sega Chihiro games.
Sega Genesis/32X Mods
Triple Bypass
The Triple Bypass mod bypasses the original Genesis audio/video circuitry, which will greatly improve its video & audio output. It also fixes the jailbars effect that is present on most Genesis models.
Kevtris 32X Video Noise Fix
Fixes the 32X's poor video quality & reduces video noise.
SNES Mini/JR RGB Restore
Nintendo's SNES JR is a cut down version of the original SNES. The stock version of this console will only output composite video. However, S-video/RGB are present on the board and can be a restored with an RGB Bypass Board that utilizes a THS7374 amp for best picture quality. The RGB on this model is quite sharp and comparable to a 1Chip SNES.
Region Free

SNES Ghosting Fix
A quick replacement of the C11 capacitor will eliminate SNES ghosting issues.
